Burkina Faso has recorded its first two cases of coronavirus.
According to the health minister Claudine Lougue, the two patients who had the covid-19 virus are returnees from France a husband and a wife.
They took a trip to France and returned recently to Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso becomes the sixth country in sub-Saharan Africa to have confirmed the virus.
Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa and Cameroon have recorded the deadly infections so far.
Ghana has also recorded some suspected cases of COVID-19 but all test results are negative.
