Ghanaian rapper, Eno Barony has been adjudged the “Best Female” rapper at this year’s edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
The event was held virtually on Sunday, November 15 and the “Enough is Enough” rapper beat strong competition and came out as a winner.
Eno Barony was nominated in the category alongside Nakai (South Africa), Moonya (Senegal), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Bombshell Grenade (Zambia), Muthoni Drummer Queen (Kenya), Askia (Cameroon), Candy Bleakz (Nigeria), Keko (Uganda) and Rouge from South Africa.
Other Ghanaian nominees included KiDi who was selected in the Best Male Artiste West Africa category; Kuami Eugene who was also nominated for Best Male Artiste West Africa and Best Producer; Kofi Mole and J. Derobie for Best Newcomer; Sarkodie for Best Rapper; Efya and Stonebwoy for Best Live Act and Diana Hamilton who was nominated for Best Gospel Act.
In a post on Instagram the rap Goddess said dreams do come true and thanked everyone who believed in her adding that the win was for Ghana.
