Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah announces his final 23-man squad for AFCON tournament today at the team’s camping base in Dubai.
According to reports, FC Porto striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been dropped from the Squad.
Majeed Waris has been dropped from the squad with Coach Kwesi Appiah preferring Jordan Ayew.
Iconic striker Asamoah Gyan will keep his place in the team despite his public outburst against the coach for stripping him of the captaincy.
Coach Kwesi Appiah appears to have a fair idea of the kind of players he needs to win the AFCON.
The team will kick start their campaign against Benin on June 25 at the Ismail Sports Stadium.
