According to Dr. Oz there are proactive steps we can take against coronavirus. He revealed on TODAY’s Show that you can boost your immune system with fruits and vegetables, vitamin D3 and a flu shot.
He also said we should avoid shaking hands and touching your face and to wash your hands frequently.

Vegetables are loaded with vitamins and minerals. For example, spinach and broccoli are loaded with vitamins A, C, and E, broccoli is one of the healthiest vegetables and can boost your immune system. Spinach is rich in vitamin c, packed with antioxidants and may help fight infections in the immune system. Other vegetables include red bell peppers, lettuce, carrots, kale, garlic, Brussels sprout, sweet potatoes, etc
Flu shot is an immunization given to protect against flu viruses; an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and an influenza B virus.
Zinc is an essential nutrient and can be obtained through food or supplements. It promotes growth, DNA synthesis, immune function and more. Foods that are high in zinc include eggs, meat, fish, legumes, dairy products, shellfish, whole grains and others.
Vitamin C increases the production of white blood cells which helps in fighting infections. You can get vitamin C from citrus fruits including oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, lemons, limes, and clementines. Vitamin C supplements are also available at any drug store and very affordable.
Elderberry is a medicinal plant belonging to the Adoxaceae family. Elderberry refers to several different varieties of the Sambucus tree, which has clusters of white flowers and black or blue-black berries.
