Easter is one of the oldest festivals celebrated by Christians all over the world.

Easter is celebrated to honour the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Easter festival is celebrated between 21 March and 25 April.

The celebration of Easter is to remind ourselves that Jesus died for us so that we have lived in the fullness of joy and that we have victory over sin.

It is now a global celebration where most countries observe as a public holiday

According to the New Testament, Easter is three days after the death of Jesus on the cross.

These are some fulfilling Easter activities you can undertake:

Family get together: Family get-together is a great way to connect with family and friends to strengthen that bond between each other. Family get-together reinforce family traditions and can be learning experiences that help us grow and mature.

Family get-together can be fun especially when you have NOT seen each other for a long time. Family activities may include cooking and having a feast together, going out to see a movie, attending public events together.

However, there are other activities that make family get-togethers memorable and fun.

Beach: The best place to be this Easter is going to the beach.  You can go to the beach with family and friends. You don’t have to spend loads of money to have fun this Easter. There are fun things to do when you go to the beach. This activity includes horse riding, swimming, playing football, socializing, take a walk, enjoy the breeze, and admire nature.

And all these fun activities cost less.

Travel: Easter holiday is a great time to travel and see the world. And you can do that within your means which means  you don’t have to break the bank to do that. There are a lot of places you can visit this Easter, especially in Ghana. These places include Mole National Park, Nzulezo, Stilt Village, Lake Bosomtwi, Kakum National Park, Jamestown, Wli Waterfall, Afadjato, etc.

Paragliding: Paragliding is an adventurous recreational sport that involves lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure.

The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing, sometimes along with another passenger.

Volunteering: This Easter you can decide to touch the heart of others with acts of service. These acts come in charity works like volunteering to feed the less privileged on the street, visit Prisons, Hospitals, etc.
